It is so hard giving Sollux dignity with that lisp.

In other news, this chapter could easily have been entitled "Moirailing for Dummies: the Goofus and Gallant Approach".

Sometimes I hate it when you're especially productive, because it means I end up being far less productive. Luckily, my "oh gogdamnit" reaction to seeing the post was quickly replaced with a "squeeeee!" and suddenly half an hour is gone.

Dave/Terezi was a nice accent to the whole story. Bitch is crazy, but it's nice to see that Dave has a weakness for this blind troll girl. More Sollux is also very appreciated, although I guess if you're tired of his lisp, you could always knock his teeth out.

Okay time for me to say something other than "/flail" for once, but
know that the usual is implied. You are awesome, and there is no stopping that.

I really love the feel of this AU. Kind of gritty, a little beaten down, but... Honestly, it's more 'real' than a lot of things like this that I've seen.
It's not even a feeling of desolation, which is what most writers who cover this kind of thing prescribe to inner city life. It's more like... Making what you can, with what you can. Barely skimming by with life, even working your hardest, and still managing to be hopeful..?

bluh bluh, sorry, just... yeah.
It makes me happy that someone kind of seems to get it?
It also really helps that you've managed to make a believable AU, in which the two species have been intermingling for an extended period of time. That takes a lot of talent, but also a lot of thought.

I will never get over how beautiful your writing is, and taking the time out to quote individual lines would have me quoting the whole thing -- though I'll take the time out to note:

"Trolls came from the sea, you know," he tells you, staring out at the ancestral water as though he'd like to go wading, return himself to the broth that bore him, and his ancestors, since so long ago. "And some of them are so damn haughty about it."

Because it's so beautiful and that's such a beautiful scene and I can see it so clearly, and I hate you for writing this beautifully.

I love Streetstuck and the Dave/Terezi portion of this also made me squeal in unholy joy.

oh god, that middle part hurt. I am glad he made it better.

I can't stop you from touching me, you paid for that, but don't ever think that buys you the right to fucking jerk me around like that again.

oh my heart. Even rereading this part still makes me all kinds of sad! ;_;
