I guess I really am getting settled into this place; I've taken up a position with the Legion (what else is a Jedi supposed to do?). The pay might not be great but if things get tight I suppose I can always go back to scavenging. I'd rather not, though

I've lived at the Temple since I was ten. Having a permanent home that isn't there again is going to take some adjusting to. I was fine with not getting a place, but Jaina convinced me otherwise.

I agree. It seems like most of us have joined it, and I'll feel better knowing there are a few people there I can trust.

Yeah. The old man who I used to live with gave it to me once. I wish I could have brought it here.

It seems like all the Jedi I've ever met are a sort of refugee; the Temple is the closest thing we have to a home, but it isn't quite the same thing.

Last ship I had I left on the Invisible Hand and considering the back of that blew up and I barely managed to land the front half without sending Obi-Wan and I up in flames, I think it's safe to say it's no longer in existence.

I wasn't a refugee. I had a home, but I left it to live at the Temple and be trained.

Ouch. Sorry to hear that. I hope you weren't too fond of it. I don't know what I'd do if I lost my ship.

I guess that's what I meant and I just didn't explain it well; we all had to leave whatever homes we had when we were so young it seems like we can never really settle down in another place. Does that make more sense?

Good for you, Zekk. I hope things work out with you and Jaina, too. Maybe it's time for both of you to stop being so hard on yourselves and be happy. I wish I'd done that for him.

Thanks. We're working on things which is more than I expected us to be able to do. I don't know if either of us would really recognize happy if it ran us over with a rancor but we'll try. Take your own advice; don't be so hard on yourself.

That's encouraging. Maybe not; but then maybe that's also why the pair of you came here, aside from your other reasons. I can't help it. I wonder now if I hadn't been so selfish, if I could have made it work, and kept him with us.
