So I'm trying to get into this Master's degree program here at Vandy. Applications are due March 1. While talking with my professor on Friday, he told me it'd be best for me to retake my GRE to up my score (since I blew it off the first time when I decided I wasn't going to apply for graduate school at the time). my plan was to just make a bunch of flash cards, and whenever i have a few minutes, flip through a few. this is where my habitual not-reading-books has hindered me. i anticipate i need to familiarize myself with at least 300 words in 3 weeks. there is a list of about 300 words that regularly appear on the gre. i also need to review all of the root words/prefixes/suffixes/etc, which will help overall.

can you think of any other ways to learn a bunch of words quickly?
