Nathan was exhausted. Inner turmoil aside, his body was exhausted by staying inside so much just so he could keep his eyes on his mother for as long as possible. He'd slept in her hotel room (in a chair, no less) and escorted her around before she'd eventually had to go. He'd cried for awhile after that

But now that radio told him the dead had left again ... there was at least something he could do. He went upstairs to tap on Nathan's door.
"Are you home?" he called, and waited for a response.
