So I am still at home, and very unlikely to receive a call to get induced today or so I am told. That piddly 1cm is probably back to 0 by now :P

Take it easy and rest. I know, I know, it's hard. But the first two months will be really really draining and emotional, so it's important to rest now.
I will give one piece of unsolicited advice here. About 10 days post-partum you will have an emotional meltdown. Crying, sad, feeling totally overwhelmed. All moms I know went through it, and it usually lasts just one day or so. So about 10 days after this little boy is born, don't be alarmed!
I know how you feel about the house, I feel that way about my house too sometimes. :D
My rational mind knows what you're saying (which is good advice), but I have a feeling the non-rational part might ignore it when it's more important to remember it and I'm exhausted and ready to tear my hair out ;)
Do they do non-emerg inductions on the weekend or are you waiting for monday now? Or are you still on the list for tomorrow?
Hehe, i was never "home with the baby" even when i was home with the baby. I was always out and about if it was nice out :) Last summer I was out with Dorian at kiddy pools almost every day :)
I'm not sure about the weekend, but I'm still on the list for tomorrow... We'll see how it goes.
Unfortunately, the kiddie pool near our area has been closed down ever since we've lived here, so it might be a bit of a jaunt to get to one. Though they do have the water pads in Wolseley, so that's not too far away as the bus runs. Then again, you've always been much more of an outdoors person than I have; I'm usually content to not char my pasty, pasty skin :D
the idea of inductinos always make me nrevous.. i know nothing about the pros or cons.. so this is purely emotional..
I love reading your progress posts though.. *I* can hardly wait until the baby comes :-D Are you having one of those baby-viewing-gift-parties/showers? If you do, pls let me know what you need/would like :-)
We'll probably have a day when friends and family can drop in to see the baby, once we get a little more settled. My family threw us a shower back in early December with my family mostly (though Adrian's mom & dad were invited too) and limited amounts of friends, but Adrian's family is planning on doing something perhaps in March? I'm not really clear on timing, but maybe then. We have most of the essentials from the first one, but I can get back to you about gift ideas later on if you want--just remind me or Adrian :)
How's the crib? By the way, is it a Storkcraft? They've got a recall right now for some parts, let me know if you need the information.
Yardwork sounds possible, doesn't it? ;) For me, I'll be looking forward to it this year. Last year it was impossible with a newborn! :D Plus I was far too pregnant to do any planting when it was time to plant!
