Infected sutures suck lots. At least I can take comfort in the fact that a) I caught the infection early on and got appropriate help and b) it's the internal ones that are infected which means it's not my fault hygiene-wise. Still sucks, and the pain makes sitting and breastfeeding more painful than it already is :P

High stakes? When it's up to their ears up their back and all you have is a wipe, the box is empty, there's no one home to help you, and you have the choice of letting go to get something else to wipe, or ... ? so you let go, and it gets all over, because your baby is a mover, but thankfully not a roller.

That's high stakes.

Definitely higher stakes than what we have at the moment :) It's really too bad that diaper changes aren't more exhillerating seeing as you do so many of them in the beginning...

Its funny, when my husband found out we were expecting our second, he was actually excited to change those yellow-poop diapers again. They have so little smell compared to a 2 year old who's eating what you eat. Yuck. ;)

I didn't know ppl thought you werent doing fine... you sound like the average new mom - I haven't been worried about you at all (sorry - doesn't that sound horrible?) Sorry to hear about the sutures though.. that SUX.

No, doesn't sound horrible at all. I don't generally worry about someone unless they give me reason to :)
