Powers and Permissions
POWERS
Love: Of all the powers Severus possesses the greatest by far is probably his ability to love. It is what drives him forward and is a likely source for the incredible amount of power he wields later in life. His ability to love is what gives him courage and will end up being the greatest magic he possesses. Not a simple man, Severus knows that his tender feelings toward Lily Evans which gave him the capacity to love are also his greatest weakness and often views them as an unfortunate aspect of his personality.
But Severus's feelings toward Lily and his later change of heart regarding Muggles and Muggle-borns are what make him different from other Dark Wizards - more powerful than them. One need only look at how he tricks Lord Voldemort to see that he was, in fact, probably the most powerful Dark Wizard of his time. However, unlike other Dark Wizards, Severus truly did redeem himself and used his knowledge and power to protect, not harm.
Severus is no saint, though. The ONLY reason he found his way back to the light was Lily Evans. The moment Voldemort threatened her life his devotion to the Dark Lord wavered and he sought help from a good wizard - Dumbledore. It was only his promise to Dumbledore which insured his return to good. Had Lily never been in danger Severus never would have changed and would have ended up dead or in Azkaban as a convicted Death Eater.
The price of Severus's redemption was Lily Evans's life - a steep price that he knows of all too well since he devoted his life after she was murdered to making sure she did not die in vain.

Offensive subjects (elaborate): He's Snape - he likes being an asshole and so do I. There isn't much of anything that will offend me.
Smut: I'm comfortable with it and have done it before in games. However, our characters have to build up some kind of relationship first. I like my smut realistic and probable. Also, for the love of God - give me something to work with in tags in smut.

Using telepathy/mind reading abilities on this character: No - not unless there is an event or a virus going on and in those situations I will tell you to do so.
