[Hey, Luceti? This is Snape normally. He sounds like he's barely opening his mouth to do the talking here, but it sounds like he's either not at all amused by any of this, or very amused by everyone's discomfort. It's hard to tell which is true.]

People can come from different timelines, which can cause a whole bunch of confusion, and then you've got the Malnosso who like to take and alter things when people are kidnapped or die.

Yes.

One can assume that the power so easily plucking us from our worlds sees the universe on many more than the three physical and one temporal plane we most easily understand. It's likely that, on that level, taking people from different planes of existence and different points of time within those planes is as easy as it is for us to, say, pick out pennies from a large mixed pile of change.
