[There is the distinctive sound of a violin being tuned coming from an area near the thermal springs. Or is it more inside? First one note sings pure, then the next. Finally, the bow drags across the strings in harmony.
Before the sounds of it had faded away,
a song beginsIsabella is in the happiest place she could be at the moment, fully

She watches for several minutes after arriving at the thermal pools, lips curling into a warm and happy smile as Isabella sets to playing rather animatedly.
Really, any who can't bring themselves to find the enjoyment in music was beyond the Herald. Her foots taps in time and as the song comes to an end, she claps earnestly.]
You play very well.

Thank you very kindly, My Lady. If it pleases you, I could play another?
Reply
Oh, please do! You've a definite affinity with the bow .. have you some training?

Music is my livelihood, my lady. I was showed a talent for it when I was little and refined it under several teachers.
[There's a twinkle in her eye.]
Helps me to keep my belly full.
[Then she pulls the bow into a dancing reel. ]

I do not know if it is similar on your world as it is mine own .. but you play as gifted as any Bard of Velgarth, good Lady.

Thank you so kindly, my Lady.
[She visibly perked up. Like a dog who just saw a meaty bone waved in front of it's face.]
You also have bards in your lands? Is Velgrath a kingdom? How many are they? Do you know of any music then?
Reply
Praise well earned, Lady, I assure you.
[Talia doesn't miss that brightening, nor the onslaught of positive vibes! She laughs and nods again, smile never slipping.]
Aye, that we do .. a school for them as well. Velgarth is the kingdom I hale from, Valdemar the specific country .. How many .. perhaps several dozen in the Collegium when I left, although many more than that out in the world.
As to my own playing .. a touch of the Gift, though not enough to have ever warned official training with a class. Nothing remotely to your abilities, I am afraid .. and certainly not with a bow .. A hand held harp, however .. and a song.. With those I think I could do well enough if need ever be.

[The gears inside her skull are grinding together and getting absolutely no where. The idea of a school for musicians was, boggling.
And wait just a moment!]
You play? You play the harp even? If I may be so bold to ask if you may play for me? May you teach me songs of Velgarth and Valdemar? Tell me some of your tales?
[Isabella leans forward eagerly.]

Aye a school, my Lady. Bards are highly honored and sought after in Valdemar, and their proper training is as important as any Heraldic Gifts. And aye, I play .. Jadus said I had a touch of the Gift in me. Well enough that he trusted My Lady, his harp, to my keeping after his passing. Alas, I have not seen her in over a years' time.
However, if this place has something similar, I would be honored to teach you the songs of my homeland.
[Truthfully, the idea of doing so wells emotions deep within the young Herald. Just as Kevas found solace in teaching his native tongue, Talia found it in teaching the songs and history of her word.]
I can think of little that would honor me as much as that, my Lady, but only if you honor me with the same?

I am sorry to hear about the loss of your Lady, regrettably my instruments were also lost coming here. I do believe there is a distinct possibility of finding something suitable though in the Bower. Never the same as what we've lost, but it might help some?
[She flashes the young woman a bright smile. Oh glories!]
I would also be delighted to exchange song and story with you.

At mention of the Bower, Talia herself brightens noticeably and her lips quirk.]
'It is better than nothing,' I believe the saying goes, yes?
[Talia's teeth flash as she smiles brightly, dipping her head.]
It would be my honor and delight, bright lady.
