I'm not sure that I've told everyone yet-- I've officially been accepted to be a volunteer with Voluntarios de la Esperanza for six months, beginning September 4th. I'm really excited. Nevermind about the party. It's come to my attention that there are about a billion other parties and goings-on on Saturday, so I'll have mine another time. Stay tuned.

My birthday is still Saturday, though. I'll finally be 18. Haha.

Ever since the Asian tsunami hit in 2004, I've been saving money to volunteer somewhere overseas. I want to work with underprivileged kids. Unfortunately, it's been really hard to find an organization with reasonable costs. Finally, I found one.
