This is so awesome, hon! I love that S1 vibe, back when it was just the characters interacting with each other and it was all fresh and everything was about Jack/Sawyer. This is sweet, how they fall together, with Sawyer, the poor guy, so gone on Jack, and Jack trying to hold it together, but ultimately having to give in to his feelings.

On a selfish note, I’m just glad that your renewed interest in Lost happened at the same time mine did - such serendipity!

Your icon made me LOL. I remember it so well, haven't seen it in years!

Aww, the timing of us both getting back into Lost fic is fantastically serendipitous!

And damn, these two were just meant to be together. It was so much fun to play with them again (inserts the "now kiss! meme") and thank you so much for the beta and for being there.

aaaaaaaaaaaa I love it. I feel bad I didn't make it over here sooner (last week was a bad week). It's just exciting to see new fic from you and this was fantastic.

I love Jack stealing the whiskey, it's the perfect catalyst, because of course Sawyer gets mad, and mad Sawyer has to act upon it. And then Jack is such a dumbass ignoring apnea and drinking and everything else.

The ending is perfect, too, Sawyer waiting a bit and then showing up like, well, Kate couldn't make it. They get a happy ending!

There was something about this line that was so affecting, I'm not even sure why since it's so simple, maybe because it is so simple:
"I'll be here," Sawyer said. "I'm here."

Oh yay! I'm so glad you liked it! And didn't mind me taking these angsty boys and smushing them together. And using sleep apnea to do it, LOL.

It was so much fun to write them again and to dive back in. Glad you and Zelda are still here (or back here) to share in that.

And I'm sorry you had a bad week. Boo, begone, badness!
