I always believed the TARDIS was the truest of the Doctor's loves. I mean, in a cracky way, but it always made sense to me.
I never thought it would be CANON OH MY GOD. and it's STILL CRACK.
Also a brilliant script that episode, so many brilliant lines and also the scary bits, the stuff with old, abandoned Rory hit my deeply-scared buttons like woah, but on the other hand "Did you wish really hard?" EXCELLENT.
FUCK THAT WAS AWESOME. I really don't have anything more insightful. Just "My thief!" and "All the fic!" and "No, I stole you."
I love River and all but this is the greatest pairing of all the pairings ever and I can't even say anything sensible about it because I just want to watch that episode repeatedly and squee. I should make an effort to not sit here all night saying "GREATEST OTP OF ALL TIME" over and over, so here is a fic I wrote years ago that feels even weirder now: If walls could talk.
