So BBB is well over by now, and with Pedicone having departed in less than ideal circumstances, I thought it was about time I posted this. (And also about time I GOT IT OUT OF MY LIFE, FFS.)

This was super fun. I love how Patrick is going to be just the drummer and Pete has concerns. The section about Bob trying to warn him was funny.

Pete! Being jealous, but being quiet because he wants Patrick to he happy but Patrick recognises it and just gets frowny at Pete being quiet! I love that dynamic, when others can see through your bullshit, and Pete and patrick do it so well throughout this fic. The part where he's like "i know i said yay orgies but if you don't like it dont do it' <333 And Mikey's good with the bullshit thing too, at the beginning when he knew he had to ask Pete. And the phone bit, because I totally do that kind of friendship interference.

And Gerard. leading patrick into a false sense of security, and then all of a sudden HEY WANNA ORGY? I love ray feeling guilty for trying to seduce him when he just wants to talk music. ray toro you are a gentleman.

AND THEN PATRICK FINALLY ORGYING BECAUSE MIKEY IS PETELIKE. That was an excellent thing to read.

God, this would have made a great bbb. but it was great this way too.

I'm so glad you enjoyed it! I thought of you a lot when I was writing it, or trying to, and I always hoped it was something you'd like. I wondered sometimes if there was too little of Patrick's feelings about Pete, but it started to really come out in the way he interacted with Frank and Mikey so that kind of worked in the end! I think my favourite part is Pete's conversations with Mikey, though, especially "Why aren't you sleeping with Patrick?" "I tried, but he keeps going on about boundaries. :(" Their friendship is as big a part of it as the Pete/Patrick relationship.

Hee, this is great! I was in actual suspense, like Patrick, as to whether the group sex was something that would really happen, or just a thing in Pete's mind. Oh Patrick, so resistant. Rayyyyyy, being weirdly polite. ♥ And OF COURSE Frank would get there first! XD And Pete, shoehorning his way in! XDDD This filled me with SO MUCH GLEE, thank you for sharing! ♥ ♥
