I've finally decided that my journal should be updated. Life has been so hectic lately and I have nothing to show for it, nothing (much) to say.

General StuffSummer is supposed to equal vacation and vacation is supposed to equal relaxation and fun. My summer has been anything but. Work and school, that's all I've been doing these past few months ( Read more... )

OMGYOUAREMYNEWTWIN!

Sorry for the freak out. My financial aid woes are all over my lj. Those people suck so bad. The FAFSA people for some reason didn't send my application/professional adjustment to my school, which ended in my freaking out and not paying my fees by the deadline--which was today. A pretty deranged phone call on my part ended with my payment getting deferred and everything working out. Hope the same thing happens for you.

Brian Deegan is my favorite person in the whole world ever! I was so pissed that he didn't qualify for the FMX finals, not to mention the Supercross race. Dave Mirra is superhuman. Poor Ryan didn't have too much success.

It's interesting that you are a Marlins fan. I'm a die-hard Braves fan since as far back as I can remember. Baseball is my thing! Good luck in the whole wild card race!

Dude. I've been meaning to write something in you lj about this whole FAFSA deal. They, in a word, suck. At least they listened to you. The nitwits at my schools financial aid office refused to even hear me out. Never mind that my transcripts, schedule and SAS report confirmed that I did in fact take 24 credits...no, never mind that. Now it's just a waiting game.

I live/die/breath Mirra, Deegan and Nyquist. I was more disappointed than pissed at Deegan, and I think I screamed more than a few obscenities at Nyquist when he missed his 720. Such is life.

Yeah, Marlins fan since the beginning. Watching these guys play is definitely hazardous to ones health. I'm not counting on the NL East (I'll be nice and give that to your guys *g*), but if they start playing their game they can become a big threat for the wild card. They've got a couple more series with the Braves so watch out! ;)

Thanks very much for mentioning my contest, although I'm actually just as excited about Nitid's. I think it's so cool that she got so many entries of really super long stories. ^____^

I haven't started reading any of the stories on either contest, haven't had the time, but I'm really looking forward to it. I'll just have to flip a coin to decide which contest I start with. *g* (I really love 2x1 lemons, though, so who knows!)

And I definitely plan on enjoying the little vacation I have left. Just have to get rid of this pesky 6 chapter test...
