A little power is as dangerous as a little knowledge. The past few days have only evidenced why humanity is seldom given such talents, it wastes them. Abilities which may have proved worthwhile if put to the right uses instead rendered this City nothing more than a children's playground

I have stayed my hand often since coming here, my Lord. If the denizens of this City will insist on showing off their petty parlour tricks I will make no attempt to dissuade them from it - this does not require me to enjoy the display.

That I can appreciate. Abusing minor powers and complaining about the results is less understandable.

I have heard that keeping company lessens the noise of the ticking.
