It's pretty ridiculous how far technology has come along, just within the last 35-odd years or so. I've grown up with computers - I distinctly remember a picture of me, holding a floppy disk when I was a baby - just old enough to sit up on my own. I was over at my sister's house when my brother-in-law - an avid Apple user - called my sister to tell her Steve died. He'd only just found out from his dad who called brother-in-law, thinking he knew. As much as it wasn't that surprising to me, it's still sad. I'm just thinking about what more he could have done if he lived longer. He was still only in his fifties. A very inspiring person.

Once the first Apple computer came on the market my dad was there buying it and has been an Apple guy ever since, both at home and at work. It's the computer I grew up on, too. I still have one of the Apples from the 80s and it still works. LOL

I have a similar story to yours but when I was born, in '79, we had an IBM at home. My mom tells me of how my dad would hold baby me in one arm as he typed away at his computer with his other arm. LOL We even have home videos of my dad showing off some game (pong maybe) on his IBM and it's that classic black background with white or green type (can't remember).

Computers have come a looong way! And Steve
