ON SOULS, LACK THEREOF, ETC.

So-Frau canonically distinguishes between pure souls and all that. It seems to correlate to character morality rather than actions! If your character's killed hundreds, but they feel really bad about it, their souls will show up as heading towards purification. If they've never touched another person but their heads are filled with fantasy murders ( Read more... )

This ought to be interesting.

Meet Charlie McGee. Her mother and father were both murdered when she was a child. She didn't see her mother's demise. However, she most certainly saw her fathers death and, with his permission, used her ability to destroy a government facility and everyone inside. These people wanted her dead, they caused her significant hell for years and while that'd be a good reason for someone to go "HAHA KILLED YOU ALL!" Charlie feels regret and guilt for it. IT was a necessary evil at the time, but now it keeps her up at night.

Except for when she killed a guy named Rainbird. He was possibly a pedophile and was the one that shot her dad. I don't think she feels too awful about that one.

Rido Kuran, Pureblooded vampire (considered royalty amongst his kind). Sadistic, elitist, manipulative, *insert any negative descriptions here*. He took and sacrificed his infant nephew in order to raise an ancestor from his sleep. Was responsible for the murder of his own brother, and to a lesser extent his own sister (because Rido was attacking with supporters, his sister used a power (to protect another) that ended up taking her own life). Sanity highly in question after over 3000 years of life. Has devoured/murdered others with no remorse. I'm sure many other things too.

I'd say his soul has to be a pretty pure black. o7
