Tyrion gave him a filthy look. "You could have warned me I might utterly lose my mind, you know."
If Columbus had, it made no difference: Tyrion was both annoyed and a lord, and he was going to vent at someone. Venting at the students seemed unsporting.
"How do they fucking forget to mention this might happen?" Tyrion continued. "I spent a day up a tree shooting at people. With a gun, which is not a bit of technology I know the first thing about. Thank the Gods I was apparently the worst hired gunman in the world or I might have a murder on my conscience."
Okay, so Warren wasn't in Tyrion's class. Hell, he didn't know anything about the man, really, except that he'd... sort of shot at him on Sunday. And that he probably owed him some kind of apology.
Like, a lot.
So! Slightly fluffed-up kid with wings in the doorway, ahoy!
"Yes?" Tyrion said, a bit on guard as he studied the visitor. He had no idea what to make of the wings, but he recognized the face. "Didn't you help Dolf kill me?"
He knew, intellectually, that the shadow hadn't been this young man, any more than Dolf or Tyrion were themselves. There was still a certain wariness that went with confronting your killer.
"I... kinda, yeah," Warren replied, wincing. "That's actually what I came here about."
If the shadow had been cool, dark confidence, Warren was practically the personification of timid at the moment, even as he raised his chin and tried to look a little bit less antsy.
"I owe you an apology for that," he managed. "I... try not to make a habit out of shooting at people."

Or if it had he hadn't noticed because he was too busy playing WoW.
"And truthfully no one really warned me either. If I had I would have given you a heads up."

"It's not my usual pastime either," he said dryly. "Given I was willing to take out a man for a pound of coffee, I think I can forgive you."
