It's amazing how out of control the situation became. I can see where the cops are coming from though. At least they took some sort of action.

From a terrorists point of view, now would actually be a good time to set up bombs around Boston, and have them look like Pac Man Lite Brights. People would go, "Oh look, someone's trying to be funny", and then BAAAAAM! Bye bye U S and A.
