thoughts on rewatch. yeah like you wanted to hear more about SPN. *eg* FWIW, watching SPN on a plane while traveling is a nice thing to do, unless you are watching that plane eppy

I imdbed him and saw he was on 24 a few years back so that is where I new him from. Bit parts here and there but at least my mind can rest as to where I have seen him before. Totally lickable and yes I am feeling particulary shallow today. ;) more later.....as I process....again!
It isn't pride that burned the psychics eyes out, it was the true form of the Angel. All old texts describe both God and the true form of Angels to be horrible in both voice and vision unto man. Man cannot handle the sight of them.
And I think Bobby was asking Dean if he felt alright in case of either possession or just coming back wrong or less than who he was. Remember there was that zombie episode in season 2 where the girl was brought back a lot more angry than when she left?
well, i know that it was that humans can't see their true forms but she was kinda "commanding" him, which i also know is not possible for humans to have any power over angels but...i don't know. if she had stopped and not been so determined to see him, would he have let her eyes alone?
thanks for the info on the S2 eppy...that makes more sense. i need to do a FULL rewatch b/c i don't have stuff quite as analyzed in my head. should go back and read some of your research posts to catch up. i love reading how everything is tying together.
Castiel didn't burn out her eyes is what I am saying, that is a by-product of seeing his true form. He warned her, but she didn't listen, and she kept on until she saw his true form.
And I too am loving the way things are tying together, especially since Dean now has to admit that his mother was right; she always told him the angels were watching over him when she put him to bed at night, and the reason he stopped having faith was because the angels didn't protect her.
thanks for your patience with me. i bow to your superior SPN knowledge. ;)
what i want to know, though, is why Castiel showed himself to her in the first place. he didn't have to do it. i still have to wonder how that all went down exactly.
ah yes, that part with his mom. really, such a small seemingly "throw away" comment, now coming back with such force.
i wonder if/when we will see Mary or John again. and for that matter if each will be "backing" one son. meaning that if Dean is the "protected", by the angels, for God, if Sam is still some higher demon thing, not that he is a demon but they at one time were a bit afraid of him...sorry rambling stream of thought there. do you think there is going to be s brotherly showdown?
i don't think Sam necessarily knew something was going to bring Dean back. he just wanted the opportunity to try everything he could do to it and that wouldn't have been possible with his bones salted and burned.
i'm assuming Sam was immune to Lillith because of the powers we're being shown now. why he's more powerful than a high-level demon, i have no clue. but there you go! i think he decided on his own that not telling Dean right away about Ruby and his powers use would be a good idea. Dean isn't exactly known for his open mind and after being sent to hell by a demon, i can see him being less...forgiving of them, if that's at all possible.
