From your opinion, I am sure I would have had a field day then! Theatre snob that I am!! So cool you and T got to experience the same show but different actors AND stage! Wow!

People should be pulled out by the ear if they have repeated coughing fits....perhaps they should just have a TB room. heehee I could not agree with Stewart more.

I had no idea there was an aftertalk for this one! how cool! Most interesting on Patrick not wanting to hear her side of things...most interesting.

Interesting choice for Laertes. I remember disliked his Rosencranz..mostly actor stuff if I recall correctly.

Thanks for the update!!

yeah, i was thinking the whole time how much you would have disliked certain parts. i didn't mention the rude giggling girls sat behind and to the right of me, who giggled during bits of the opening, esp. when Ed first spoke or when Penny started talking. it was annoying and i was about to tell them to STFU but they stopped for a while...but then during some parts started back up. grrr. i had no idea WTF they were finding amusing at all. 0_o ( ... )

I can totally agree from an Actors POV that coughing and sneezing can be annoying. However, from an audience member point of view, there is NO WAY I would think "oh well, seeing as I have gotten sick, I gues I will have to waste the money I spent on my theatre tickets and stay home, in case I cough". It is just not practical.

I agree with holding it in whevere possible, but somwtimes it just can't be done.

At an Opera or Concert Hall, there is going to be plenty of loud music to cover any coughing. Whle certainly the etiquette is differentI don't even see an issue there.

YOU are the reason that people like me get sick b/c you refuse to stay home when ill. :P i hate when people are coughing into their hands and then touching door handles etc....b/c inevitably i end up getting sick. grrr.

i disagree with the concert hall or opera...i don't think he meant rock concert but rather orchestra where there would be quiet parts. it just should not be allowed to be disruptive for the whole concert or play. an occasional cough is not the issue but a constant cough. T had a woman sitting next to her that coughed throughout the whole play. every 5 to 10 mins, cough cough cough. how annoying.

combine that with the other 50 people doing the same thing and you end up with a coughing fit every few mins of the 3 plus hour play. i was just glad i was not sitting next to a cougher b/c i would have not been nice. :P

still ♥ you, though. ;)

I do agree that people who cannot control the majority of their coughs/sneezes are probably so sick they should not be out in public.

Pretty much you ae ALWAYS gonna get some coughs though - even form healthy people. Heck I was at the cinema thursday and had to cough 3 times (only in loud bits mind you!), and I am totally healthy at the moment.

Oooh it's fab that this was a completely different experience for you (even if it wasn't all good; change is good, right?)

I look forward to the photos :)

some change is good but then seeing something as close to perfection in Stratford did leave me a bit disappointed this time. i am quite mixed about the whole thing i guess. pros and cons to be sure. ;)

btw, got your card. it is adorable. thank you. {{HUGS}}
