thank you all for your insight and comments. it looks like now, while very tempting to do a day trip, it really won't work as well as i had imagined. that just means that i MUST plan a proper trip for another time. *sigh* i do so love adventures but sometimes what looks good on paper just really does not translate to living it, esp. on a short ( Read more... )

Sure, we can't do everything in a day. I wouldn't even try. So I just look on this as a 'free sample' and if we like it, we can come back for the rest another time... *g*

It's the other way round here, after some cold weather I finally bought a down coat, and now it has turned autumnal again.

i had read that it was very cold but has gotten better. i will be going from snow to rain and much warmer temps tomorrow.
