I haven't made it to Season 3 yet but I did notice a very slight upgrade from 1 to 2.

I will let you know when I start 3. It will be a while though because I am in the middle of a Sports Night re-watch. in the little free time I do have since whup is kicking my ass right now.

They did away with the colour grading in post-production so that the colours would be brighter and the shadows would feel darker.

did you by any chance but the dvd's when in uk ?
our PAL standard stuff is of much higher resoultion then US standard ntsc stuff ?

no i didnt' buy them in the UK. just wish we had the PAL version b/c it makes it prettier. but a post above yours has the explanation for the enhanced vid quality. ;)
