The Doctor was not a Siren. In fact, I believe casting sides called for her to be a Cougar. It was a red herring which sort of worked and sort of didn't. As for the flowers-not sure if it was just a coincidence (maybe she liked those flowers) or not.

It was a fascinating insight into Dean. When it all comes down to it, he really really wants his family back. With adoring younger brother and Dad to shoulder the bulk of responsibilities. Plus very much HoYay going on there...

I flove Bobby. The scene where he hangs up the phone and you see a bunch of phones with different labels was hilarious. I just wish he has smacked some sense into both of them.

thanks for that info. figured it had to be a red herring...of course that was after the reveal. LOL

i agree. Dean just keeps breaking my heart b/c his wants and needs are not being met. He is so broken even though he keeps trying to put up the tough front.

HoYay! bonus!

oh YES, the phones were a big hit here too. him in the apron cooking while he chewed out the guy was hilarious too. agreed, Bobby needs to stop hand holding and beat some sense into them. *nods*

Yes, Bobby's phones were awesome! As is Bobby.

I can't see things getting better for Dean. If he gets to be happy..... well, we saw what happened when he did in that genie episode, he had to 'break' it because he knew it wasn't right. And that was before he spent 40 years in Hell torturing souls! He has a lot more to go through before he thinks he's earned peace. So we are going to spend a lot more time saying, 'oh, poor Dean.'.....;-)

Agreed, Doctor McMrsRobinson was not the siren.

Is it just me, or was her sex scene with Sammy actually, um, hot? So far this show has been deficient in chemistry between the boys and the girls they have sexytime with - but not this time.
Maybe they just needed an experienced woman to handle him right (double entendre totally intended...*weg*)
So, where's Dean's cougar?

OMG, yes to your comments about Dean. he is def. in for much more pain before he is at peace. i think the writers have found their sweet spot b/c they know making Dean miserable somehow makes the fans something or ruther. not exactly happy but maybe they just identify with him?

yes, to Sam and um, hot!!! i am not sure what they have changed or maybe it is just Dark!Sam that comes out in those scenes. his scenes with the new Ruby and this Doc were def. HOT! no chemisty needed. LOL

yeah Dean's cougar? can we volunteer? bwahaha

Okay, I definitely have to rewatch again because I was watching it in my lunch break while chatting with Amy, so I might have missed one or two things. Here's what I think, so far ( ... )

Oddly enough, I was reminded of 'Angel'.
A woman called Jasmine (well, one of her names), and being freed from her spell involves blood. Where have we seen that before?

Yup, that's exactly the point where I started thinking, 'hmmm, the Siren has good taste in Winchesters!', too. And s/he was definitely flirting. It was interesting that the Siren just wanted to be loved, but the kind of love was irrelevant. Because Dean wasn't flirting back - more's the pity....;:-)

oh yes Jasmine. *shudder*

it would have been funny to see Dean overtly flirting, however i think that would have been too far out of character. OTOH there was that whole "male bonding" thing going on which is a type of love so that was probably enough.

....and I just had an extra think.

I could be wrong, as I've only watched it once... but how could the doctor be the siren, wasn't she with Sam when Dean was with Agent Fake?
