 Dear people running for president,

I will vote for whichever one of you makes Daylight Savings GO AWAY.  My internal clocks are currently crying because come sunday, they'll have to readjust and I'll spend three weeks as a zombie, but without the desire to eat brains.

Interestingly, I read an article recently about how the common wisdom is that DST saves energy due to it being light out when you're home in the evening. And that may have been true in the 70s, when a lot of these studies were originally conducted, but it's no longer true because of the high prevalence of A/C units. Now, getting home an hour earlier means that you're home for an extra hour in the heat of the day, so you run your A/C more... which more than makes up for the difference in electricity usage.

Personally, I've always thought it's funny that "Standard Time" takes up less of the year than "Daylight Savings Time".

Actually, because of this graveyard shift crap I'm on, when the clocks switch over it will kick in my brain eating desire and no one, not even my husband, will be safe.

damn it...I didnt even know Daylight Savings was coming up!! I seem to be missing everything this week!!Hell,I didnt even know Spring Break was coming up and sat in class Wednesday wondering why everyone keep telling each other to have a nice break!!

Either way Daylight Savings=pointless-ness.They should have eliminated it a looong time ago as it no longer serves a damn purpose other than to screw us all over.
