But it'll get better - for today is the Magical First Day Of December - The Day When The Decorations Go Up! Yay!

It is also known as the day when all the people of Hobart realise they haven't gotten their christmas presents yet and flood the shops in a giant bleating idiotic group. Milling around the cheapo tables and irritating everyone by assuming the worlds slowest pace.

But decorations! Lights! Little shiny stars jammed onto the top of plastic trees!
