Haha, I know, right? I want to smack Jimmy around. If you watch the video package for their fight that I linked above, there are these two 3-second clips...from like 2:40-2:43, and 2:50-2:53 in which both Jimmy and John are at a fair (inspiration for part 4, huh, huh?! lol)... and John is smiling at Jimmy like he is just freaking IN LOVE with him. And then In the next clip he has his arm around Jimmy... and I want to smack Jimmy so bad, and scream, "YOU IDIOT! HOW BLIND ARE YOU THAT YOU CAN'T SEE THAT THIS BOY LOVES YOU SO MUCH?!" -- obviously, it hurt him too, though. That promo speaks for itself. Especially since it went SUPER personal while John's was like...hardly able to be completed.

Aww I enjoy your fics, It's nice to see good indy fics because they are so rare in our fandom. and your fic made me want to watch more of these videos.

So, I think it's interesting that you had a totally different idea from what I have written here. I mean, PERSONALLY I think you should totally go out on a limb and explore it, buuut. I won't force you :) but yeah. They are somewhat versatile. I think it's because there's a lot of open, grey area to be interpreted.

Yeah, they're macho, heheh. Real macho. so macho that Jimmy throws fucking condoms at him in the ring but yeah, you're totally right. John doesn't have a problem with it... he's the less macho of the two, but Jimmy expresses less machoness (does that make sense) when he doesn't realize it - such as when he's asleep.
