Those who were not...I would like to hear your thoughts regarding the behaviors of the affected.

I have experience with abomination possession. The symptoms of the effected were similar to what I saw back on my homeworld.

The Spice is capable of unlocking ancestral memory. However a vulnerable personality can be preyed upon by their ancestors. Especially those of us born into nobility: Our ancestors often did terrible things, and that ruthlessness is reflected in their manipulations.

Gelda was affected, but I did not notice any overt changes in her personality. She seemed much the same as ever.

Indeed, there appeared to be varying levels of changed personalities. Even those who had experienced adverse behaviors slipped in and out of these mindsets.

So it was not a constant possession? Interesting. That could indicate either that the possession itself was incomplete, or the will of the affected individual was stronger than the possession.

Perhaps it is associated with the individual's level of alignment with the corresponding element as well.
