Today is my friend andreamarie's birthday and I thought that I would use this occasion to dispell some of the myths and folklore that shroud the legend of how we became friends.

Now, Andrea and I go back a long way. Because of this there is some confusion about when and where exactly it is that we first met. For some reason there is a common misconception that we first became friends back in San Fransisco when we were working the saloons during the gold rush days:

However, nothing could be further from the truth.

Another prevailing theory is that Andrea and I met when we were both mischevious but good hearted catholic school girls:

Alas, this theory is also false. No nunnery can contain us...but oh, the wacky hi-jinks that would ensue if one tried.

The real way I met the lovely andreamarie was right here on livejournal. Thanks to the rather remarkable match making prowess of this guy:

I can only show you a third of his face because he's in the witness protection program, but it all started when Dennis told me that Andrea would be the perfect ying to my yang. As much as I hate to admit when he is right(he does a dance), he was dead on nuts accurate and its been nothing but cotton candy flavored love and giggling and clouds with smiley faces on them ever since:

I guess the point that I'm trying to make is that good friends are a blessing no matter where they come from. That's something we should keep in mind all the time. Not just when they cover for you after you've gotten tanked on communion wine... or when they saved your hide at high noon by being the fastest shot this side of the Rio Grande... or when they have a birthday.

In summation:

I hope you had a wonderful day!
