Eye sight
I think I might need to go have my eye sight checked (along with my teeth, but that's a different story). I've been super tired lately and I'm not sure if it is my eye sight, but I've been really tired feeling and it's usually worse after I've done much computer work.
Again, if only I had full coverage insurance... -
Life in the last two weeks

The Passing of the Perfect Heart Dog
We had Kati put to sleep yesterday. The vet and vet tech (Sue and Cara respectively) did a house call for us.
In her last years she was increasingly tired, disoriented, slightly incontinent, and generally old. But through all of it she continued to love her people and we tried to bend over backward for her. I knew it was coming and I feel guilty ( Read more... ) -
Aussies
Colt and I made a decision tonight. We are going to get an Aussie puppy. She'll arrive either in July or September depending on if all the pups from the litter born yesterday are spoken for. I'm so excited! And I do love baby Aussie legs. The look like tree trunks.

Oh my word you guys, it is soooooo beautiful out! I know we've gone through spring like four times now but this one is glorious. I shall enjoy it before the northern monsoons claim it again. It is so lovely, in fact, that I convinced my very work driven husband to leave work early to enjoy it with me ( Read more... ) -
Museum

Easter
Not much to report here. I had a lovely Easter. We went to Colt's sister's place for our neice's first Easter and lunch. We then drove across the valley for dinner at my folk's place. So I've been working on silly knitted creatures for the last few days (I finished Nessie, but I forgot to take a picture before I gave it to my mom) out of the book I posted. I realized the other day that most of my hobbies would be of use should I find myself back in the 18th century. No, I am not a deft hand at hunting (it must be noted that I've never been) but I am rather good at the whole gathering, cooking, gardening, tending animals, and making clothes. Our rabbit Milli died last night. She had a case of wry neck which set on quickly last Thursday. She spent Friday and Saturday at home and then went to the vet for her last days. They took good care of her and carried her around and were generally wonderful ( Read more... )
