(no subject)
So... 3 weeks, 2 days, and 23 hours until my due date. How exciting I guess. We arent back in the house yet, but our insurance has agreed to cover most of the damage. They are really some swell guys. This is a picture of that. its gross
I went through the guest bedroom at the Christodoulou's house this evening and cleaned out the closet and other things that needed to be cleaned. It was nice and I feel accomplished. I also got the cradle that my great grandpa made for my brother Josh when he was born. She is going to be the 6th baby to have slept in this cradle, which I think is kind of cool. I got pretty bedding for it too as there have only been boys using it since I was born and all the bed linens were blue and green. This is a picture of that. My mother bought them for me. Arent they cute?
So also, a few days ago I made a cast of my torso. It was a lot of fun and a lot of mess. This is a picture of that. My cousin is holding the cast because it is my goal to not be seen in the later months of pregnancy, so as to keep my terrible weight problem a secret, shhhh.
So that is what I have been doing. It isnt a wild and crazy life, but I enjoy it enough. Chad and I have come up with a name for the baby, you'll all find this out the day she is born or soon after. We are hoping for a birth this weekend, but you never know.
Just as an FYI for those of you who are comtemplating the whole baby thing: I'm not so sure about the whole child rearing thing yet, but I know that pregnancy sucks. I have never been more miserable in my life and that is saying a lot because I am miserable in just about everything I do. This has got to take the cake though. However, it is kind of amazing and cool to experience in the long run and I'm sure I wont remember how much I hated it years down the line. Over all I give the whole thing a seven, but my hypothesis for a future rating is probably going to be closer to a nine, that way I will want to do it again... perhaps. Well, if I dont talk to most of you before the birth I'll be sore to tell you all about it afterward. For those of you who dont already know I'll be giving birth at the Birthing Cottage in Winterpark. I should only be there several hours before going home. I'll make sure there is some announcement for those of you who are following this whole saga (which are few.) Following a few weeks recouperation in Oviedo I'll be going to stay in Tarpon for a few more weeks. We'll keep you posted.
