[After Vincent was told that he had to level up and get through the Ice Path to escape, he did just that on the premise that Valtiel- his Houndour- would do all the work. He didn't. Why would I want to keep the Pokémon away? Valtiel won't get any stronger unless he fights, right?

[He's putting on an act. Vincent's pissed right now, but he's got to keep the upper hand with anyone... and he's not repeating getting frustrated and snapping on another person, because that just openly shows that he has a weak side.]

Actually the first few, I just beat up with my fists. Good exercise.
