I liked it very much, Draco was so very IC. And everything is still far too complicated; exactly as it should be.

You really managed to flesh out the prompt in a interesting and believable way. The other side to Draco fit in with the face we'd seen in DH, and his and Harry's interaction was very well-written. They've reconciled, but won't ever be close - I find it very plausible.

I think too much definitely has happened for them to be friends - even JKR said that. But I don't think they'd be able to stay enemies either.

Oh, thank you for this! This was utterly wonderful. I've been intrigued by the idea of this scene for a very long time, and I really want to write it myself at some point, but I also wanted to see how someone else might handle it. Which you did beautifully. In particular, I want to thank you for four things

I am very glad it was worth the wait - cause I actually despaired a couple times of ever finishing it. :D I was beginning to fear that when I posted it, nobody would care any longer. ^_^

And I do love Draco. He's one of my favorites - writing him sympathetically is so much fun. I think I went from hating him to liking him in book four, when Moody was an ass to him. I wouldn't like his parents as much either, if it weren't for
