Summary: Love and to love is not supposed to be about possessiveness
You know that feeling when you like somebody but everyone else likes them too? It makes you want to give up on liking that person. Like, seriously give up on liking that person because you know there's no chance that you'll like this person more than everyone or anyone else. It hurts because all you want is to love but these people, these possessive "I liked him first" people, won't let you.
I've given up on too many people this way. I don't want to be the better person and let them have the person I like for their happiness. I'm human, I have the right to love/like/care for anyone I want to. You cannot tell me to give up on liking someone because they're technically "yours". Yours or not, I can still love a person right? I don't own that person fine, but don't tell me I cannot love just because you want that person all to yourself. I've had it with not being able to love for the sake of someone else.
I want to be selfish too, let me love freely. That's all I want.
