('cause it took be awhile to find out abbreviations for things ... oh the slowness that is I)

Hey there. You asked me to read this and it was pretty good. I didn't think this was a fanfiction at first, so I didn't know the world at all. The grammar and spelling are pretty solid, as far as I can tell. My only real nitpick would be that I'm not so sure an eight year old would be interested in hearing stories of old times from his gramps. At least, I wasn't when I was that age. haha. Anyway, onto your next fic. Have you put this on ff.net yet? You won't get many responses from LJ. Just a thought.

yes, I have, but since i'm new, I don't think anyone has really read it yet... and for the eight year old, just a thought, right? I mean, I'm not saying that every eight-year-old does that, but this one could, right?

i was kinda doubting that too, 'cause I didn't do that either (which I should 'cause now I'm interested, but my granparents speak chinese, and I don't, too bad...) but it's to keep the story more family-love type
