あなたの蕎麦煮〜

Inbetween emptying my room (it appears that I also need a wall repaint) and Facebook games (*shakes fist* curse you), I've began picking up the thing about making one's own food.

I don't know what you think about a guy who can't cook (if you're preparing an assault, there's a lot of us, in my defense) but I'm not totally dumb about it. I think I ( Read more... )

^_^ Anyone who would be silly enough to put down a guy for not being able to cook is... well... >_> silly I suppose. *.* Hmm... Ah well anyway... I'm a girl that can't cook... well I sort of can... I can boil water and put stuff in it :/ but Aoi-sama won't even let me do that now cause he's afraid I'm gonna burn myself or something.

:D But yay! This is a happy thing right? Before you know it you'll be making fine dishes for the ones you love~... I don't know about it 'being worth the trouble', especially cause things can go wrong sometimes (Aoi-sama gets really upset when things don't turn out the way he wants them to)... but when things go right and you get praise from the other people you're feeding, it's a good feeling ^-^// ... I'm happy when Aoi-sama likes my peanut butter and jelly sandwiches even ;o.o; (am I lame?).

Good luck!

Frankly he's setting the standards too high...

On one hand I've lived in the dorms for more than a decade of my school life so I should be having no excuse on how to fend for myself.

On the other hand I envy the absolute freedom ryuugakusei like you and Otaru/AJ have.

Something that's helped me become less of a stranger to the kitchen beyond the microwave? Making sandwiches for work because a bunch of those can be whipped up in a few minutes and extras put in the fridge for later. It's fast food convenience with home-style quality.

The "60 minutes cooking for 5 minutes of eating" isn't so bad. That's a couple episodes of anime-watching right there, but then I pick things that can cook unattended for about that long.
