Lance was going to go do laundry. He had plenty of clean capes, his clothes needed cleaning He had the bag over his shoulder as he walked in, and stopped when he saw the bar.
He left. And came back without the bag. And with a white cape on. White with a red and green trim. What is festive? He swishes his cape as he sits down at the crate bar. "Good evening, bar... keep..." He only just now notices that the one behind the bar is a small girl.
Melissa sat on top of the counter, swinging her legs back and forth into the crate below. Her hand was wrist-deep in M&Ms for no reason, just picking them up and pouring them back into the bowl.
"I don't get the cape!" Melissa snapped. "...Hi," she added after a long pause.
Melissa wrinkled her nose at the man's reply. Status and position? What did that even mean?
She hesitated to give her name, remembering what her mom had told her years ago. So instead of replying, she shrugged, taking a handful of M&Ms and bringing them to her lap.

((Ollieeee ; Open ; 6:15-ish PM...that's okay right?))
The teacher's dorm seemed like a less distracting place to swell around a little, Olimar didn't feel like going home. Having to talk with Petunia about what she did only reminded him he really didn't have time to parent four girls, not that it was ever going to stop him from trying.
The laundry room seemed...different today. Was this even allowed or legal? A little slouched over with both hands in his pockets, he inspected the little 'bar' closer. The small girl across the 'counter' seemed familiar, ah yes, this was the girl Ionia got into a fight with. What was she doing over here?
Melissa waved her arm enthusiastically at the teacher, offering an overly-loud, "HI!" as well.
Louie had already gone to his first bathroom break, so it was only Melissa at this point. She got up onto her stool and leaned over onto the counter, crossing her arms beneath herself. "What can I get for ya?" she asked, attempting to mimic the line Louie had taught her.
At this point, Louie was hurrying back down the hallway towards his awesome mansion bar-thing. "Hey, did anybody come?" he called into the room as he made his way behind the "counter".
"Oh, hey. Are you takin' care of this customer, Mellie?"
Olimar shook his head, "No no, I, uh, don't need anything." Still, he just looked down at the girl puzzled, who was that other guy again? Name didn't recall to him and instead got his attention.
