Though LiveJournal seems to be defunct, I still have hope in the process. Maybe one day, the concept of journal posting without Facebook or Myspace will return yet again and I will, once more, feel like I'm not talking to myself here

Thank you. Enjoy your travels around my journal. Some of the picture links or pictures that may be included probably won't work. I used to have a paid account and so I took full advantage of the unlimited photo gallery, but now I don't have it so the pictures aren't accessible.

Well, considering how I still don't know how to drive either (not much has changed since we've known each other, ha), I am limited to jobs within walking distance or jobs on campus. The on-campus jobs are quite difficult to obtain because you have to hear from someone or go around to every department and personally ask if there are any openings because the school doesn't have a way of informing students about available on-campus jobs. Not to mention, it is an awful lot like off-campus jobs in the sense that they are looking for specific time slots to fill. The difference between the two? Off-campus jobs will actually tell you when you aren't what they're looking for or if they need someone available at at a certain time. The on-campus jobs are just so disconnected in that sense. Within my first couple semesters, I had put in three applications to on-campus jobs and heard nothing back

Keep your head up and just keep striving in life. It'll be worth it one day. You shouldn't feel bad for peeps trying to help you out though. They care thats why they do. I know what you mean though. Not having money doesn't mean you're not an adult. You're wayy too mature to not even be consider an adult. I didn't know you were in Alabama??
