So I've been re-reading/re-listening to the Bridget Jones books and it inspired me to start searching for some good BJD fanfic, and I found some, but it just didn't seem to be quite meeting my need for expanded moments in the books, although there were tons of great AU type storylines... Thank you, I'm so thrilled you liked it! :) It just sort of took me over for an evening (not super timing, given work in the morning, but it was totally worth it!). I actually love your fics from fanfiction.net (didn't learn you were on livejournal until today), so it's really exciting for me to meet you and have you like my fic! (Am fangirling a little, sorry)

But now that I've discovered you're on LJ too, I'm sure you'll be seeing a lot more comments from me ;) But no, never commented before, so I just must have one of those names that looks familiar :)

Also, thank you VERY much for the constructive feedback! I have attempted to correct the problems, but the issue of mixing tenses seems to be a particular challenge for me, so if I've missed some spots, please do let me know. I'm new so I don't have anyone to beta, so I always appreciate help :)

This is my favorite scene from the EOR book. Call it the Velveteen Rabbit scene. So is this your first foray into writing fanfiction?

Mine too! I just love the description of loving the fur off, etc. It actually makes me almost cry every time I read that part!

Anyway, this is my first ever Bridget/Mark fic and only my third fic ever. I recently got into the show Parks & Recreation and so I've now written 2 fics for that. But yes, I am definitely a newbie! Was it that obvious? :)
