My last check-up with the doctors said that I had a stigmata in my eyes. Stigmata is bad...

ARGH! I hate getting my eyes tested, I always come out with a headache! Apparently I have a stigmata stigmatism in my eye...actualy both my eyes. Soooo, not only is my eyeside crappy now but...hell. I'll give you the run down: one eye is weaker than the other (duh! knew that already! known it since high school!) and my eyes are light sensitive, BUT

LOL. I have the same problem, or so I'm told. Actually, because I'm of Japanese descent, I have slightly funny shaped eyes, which, oddly, are labeled as "stigmatism." I've been battling with the thought for a while . . .

If millions of people on another continent all have eyes shaped that way . . . are they really mis-shapen, or am I normal and the rest of the world has a stigmatism?

I have that too!! but only in one eye and on my last optitions visit they said the problem was trying to correct itself so I have one lens slighty milder then the other......I get headaches on and off and cant always wear my glasses......
