I seem to have done something rather horrible to my right hip joint. I don't know if I hurt it walking around the fair or if I have some kind of inflammation, but it super really hurts. It seems to be manageable when I am in motion or sitting still (ache vs. stabbing pain), but the transitions are hell. Sitting down, standing up, shifting weight

Might you consider getting a wheelchair for SAFF? They probably have them there.
I know, I know, but consider how much yarn and stuff could be easily hauled on the back - you'll be doing everyone a favor!

I was going to suggest a wheelchair, too, although the place isn't really wheelchair accessible. But think of the fun we could have pushing you around!

Another option might be a palanquin carried by several nubile young boys. Hm. In fact, I think you should get to work on that ;)

Thanks for the well-wishes! There is no way I'm using a wheel chair, but the palanquin idea has some definite merit. :)

Okay, fine, if you won't use a wheelchair, I suggest you get one of the alpacas or llamas to ride around on! It will be like a Moroccan bazaar! (I guarantee no sightings of Indiana Jones though.)
