I think I’m getting a handle on this “October” thing. So far, it has been a crazy-busy and fun month. Although, I just looked on the calendar, and I’ve had stuff going on every weekend since September 11. The ALA’s Banned Books Week doesn’t officially start until this weekend (Sept. 25 - Oct. 2nd), but you can get an early start by defending Laurie Halse Anderson’s SPEAK.

Alas, it turns out that I will not be going to Dragon*con this year. Mike has to go to PAX for work that same weekend (poor little thing), and I just didn’t feel like I should spend the money or brave the con while preggors without him.
