Chris Cornell with Audioslave... it never ceases to amaze me how much of a "step down" that seems for him.

As for Live 8, I've still managed to duck hearing any audio or video recordings. I heard Pink Floyd reunited for it, though, and that seems cool.
Overblown festivals in general, though, almost always get way too involved and spoiled.
