conference blogging

I like reading about what people see at conferences, but I absolutely don't want to read somebody's unintelligible notes. Why do librarians keep posting their notes as blog posts? They don't make any sense, so I don't get the rush to publish. Maybe they could, you know, go over them and write up a little summary that other people would understand. ( Read more... )

I agree. I'd much rather read an "executive summary" than someone's undecipherable notes...

Yeah, I don't pretend all my blogging is riveting, but I try for complete thoughts. Liveblogging for the sake of liveblogging is really pretentious, in my opinion.
