I'm so tempted to app Kanda from D.Gray-man... but I'm very nervous about these types of RPs where other players really know each other, while I just stalk watch people on LJ. I'm looking for a good RP, but I'm a bit of a chicken. Think that might be okay?

We're really not cliquey, so I don't think you'll have a problem at all. :3 Everyone is very involved, and so we really take extra lengths to make sure our new players are comfortable. But we're very good.
