Why I sometimes like cleaning

I have a bulletin board in my room. I've had it since I was in high school, and it's amazing what it accumulates over the years. I keep peeling back layer after layer, one year behind the next, figuring out what I'm keeping and what's hitting the trash.

• Samurai cat cellphone charm I got with Mari at Mitsuwa. She got a matching one, but I can't remember which. :(
• A picture I tore off of an orange drink from high school, it features a man with an orange for a head with a t-shirt reading "I squeeze to please."
• A large, 24 in. by 6 in. promotional art of Devil Summoner: Raidou Kuzunoha vs. The Soulless Army I got when I worked at GameStop
• A card/letter from Athena
• Something with Jesus on it?
• Oodles of fanart I've collected from cons: Pyramid Head print, I-No sticker, Ushio (from Ushio & Tora, best show ever, btw), a bookmark of a large scale painting someone did of Dante, Iori print, signed badge art of Ky Kiske (that Skuld bought me), I-No and Sol cards by coey (who is also pretty amazing), and other things.
• An X-Men stamp off of a letter my career adviser sent me
• A Katamari Damacy Christmas card from Nameco
• Two cards from Catie, one with an envelope and a Luke Skywalker stamp
• A letter and fanart from Megan
• A signed flier I got a Pillow's concert I got with Jojo
• Some sort of crazy Japanese snack bag that Skuld sent me, I think, it has a very sadistic looking habanero on it
• An article from the Daily Herald about the Hubble Telescope and two galaxies blabbing away
• Postcards! Mostly from different shows at different galleries from my Professors' shows, most notably Jiwon and Chuck. There are some others. One postcard of Michael, the archangel, and another of some Yuu Yuu Hakusho doujinshi art by Azumi Tohru.
• Remus Lupin bookmark by Holy Voice that Skuld got me in Japan
• My Wii no.
• A polaroid of "The Breakfast of the Future" featuring Tang and chocolate dinosaur cupcakes
• A M&M that's red and says "Hey Baby" on it. I call it Dante.
• The battle between Michael and Lucifer that Shelly drew for me in high school on lined paper. It's still my favorite piece by her.
• A car sticky of the dark mark that Nikki got me
• Badges from every anime convention I've ever been to
• Crazy fanart of Zuko I drew
• One of those brains that grows up to like ten times its size when you put it in water
• Poster by Carlos Segura that says "Do people know who you really are? Show them."
• Fanart of Death from The Sandman by Mar
• Elite Beat Agents badge? Apparently I am Agent BA2
• Pins, pins, pins. Too many to describe. Highlights? A pin that says "Smell Me", one of Dante strutting, one of Zuko Alison got me, Simca's badge, one of a tiny kitten trying to eat a doughnut, one of Kadaj that says "I ♥ my Nii-San", Karen from X that Vera got me, one of a bunch of dinosaurs that says "CHU", and one of the Triforce.
• Like pins, keychains. Highlights: Dante and Enki made by Megan; Cloud, Kadaj, Loz and Yazoo; Nana, Hachi, Yasu and Shin; a lightasber keychain that lights up; and Gendou.
• Princess Peach DS cleaning cloth
• 3D kitten sticker that says "PSYCHO"

I feel as if I've rediscovered myself.
