There's something called a tea egg. Some of you my be familiar with it, as it's a traditional Chinese snack. I am absolutely smitten with the idea. Don't eat the century eggs on their own. They're usually used as a supplementary ingredient for other foods. D8 Alone they'd probably be nasty.

FOR THE RECORD: Pell dragged me to Chinatown to make me try tea eggs, so I could know if I didn't like it or not. Word: I am a picky eater. But it wasn't that bad!!

i love tea eggs. I used to go to a tea house in san diego that served them (and avocado boba!)

let me know how yours turn out! it would make my life if i could make them at home, i miss them so very much ; ;
