I know plane crashes are rare, and this Asiana crash in San Francisco was "minor" compared to how much worse it could have been (that's no consolation to the families of the two fatalities). But when it's an airline you've flown, and an airport that you've spent more time in than any other (probably), it really hits home. I may have even been on ( Read more... )

There is no land bridge for you to drive across the Bering Strait to get to California via Alaska! You will need a kayak built by the Inuits.

I called in BD&R to RSVP four tickets to the Whitecaps game on August 5. I also invited the Grahams to join us, waiting for their reply. See you soon. The Tigers have been great for the recent games.

We have been lucky with the weather for traveling. Hope your company excursion in Hoi An went well. We expect to be in Seattle this evening for dinner.

Traveling log: We made it to Mt Rushmore and Badlands National Park today. Tomorrow, we will do the Badlands loops, then head on home. The road trip has been very exciting for us.
