The week got mildly better.

1. My hand isn't bothering me anymore.
2. Brake line getting fixed tommorrow.

Still some bad, though.

1. Laptop's display is definitely dead (problem with the LCD inverter or something.)
2. Work still isn't going well.

if you want to know exactly what is wrong with the inverter you could send it to the laptop guy lol

$29 will tell you exactly what's wrong with it. If it's the inverter it'll likely need to be replaced, which would come to about $250 + tax. It could just be the LCD cable, it could be the screen, or it could even be the motherboard. does the screen work on an external monitor?

I don't have a monitor to check it with (my stepdad's only works with his computer for some erason), so I'm not sure. The screen is still working, it's just not lighting up. And I know for a fact it's the LCD inverter, the error shows in the pre-boot Diagnostics.

I'm figuring on just replacing it...I've already had it almost twice as long as my old laptop, and I don't really feel like spending more money on it.
