Jack is standing at the side of the bed, playing with his phone. Probably looking up some business crap, she guesses, until he says, "Say cheese, Lemon."

She pulls the sheet over her just as he takes the picture, and she thinks the split-second freeze-frame of the shocked look on her face might be more embarrassing than any naked picture.

No. A naked picture would be much worse. Especially at that angle; she thinks the bigger boob would look much bigger, and not in a good way that makes you assume the other one is nicer than it seems, but in a creepy, those breasts are freakish way.

Though... Jack is probably paying attention to the angle and her boobs, so maybe it wouldn't look bad.

No. A naked picture of her will always be kind of bad.

"What the hell are you doing?" she says.

"It's not as if you haven't taken such a picture before."

"As a joke. And you know how that turned out? Crappy. What if you lose your phone and get blackmailed--"

"I don't lose my phone and I have no financial or ethical problems with paying necessary ( ... )

I imagine I'm missing some of the jokes since I've never seen Mamma Mia! (and really don't want to) but this was highly enjoyable. I love the notion of Jack being so thoroughly turned on by Liz, as we've discussed before. It's super sexy. And thanks for contributing!

There's really only one Mamma Mia! reference. (I don't much care for the movie, but an ABBA lyric jumped into my head when I wrote Jack's line, and I thought Liz making reference to the movie in her head would make sense.) Thank you, I'm glad you enjoyed it.

That's was so cool. And sexy.

Dialogue pitch perfect and you ALWAYS manage to make a relationship between them so believeable. They still banter, they're still exactly the same. Just with added sex. Never a bad thing.

I got the Mamma Mia ref, jfyi, because I am an ABBA geek so....

The power has gone out, and for whatever reason, the NBC generator won’t turn on. She came to his office because the writers are driving her nuts ( ... )

Awwww. This was so sweet, I loved it. Kinda wish those lights would've stayed off longer. Jackie boy needs to make his move for real. :)

Awww dude!!!

I loved the way you wrote that, all sort of in his head but the dialogue and action was still there and still very them. Very simply suspenceful, real sexy and....augh, frustrating, but in a good way. Dang!

You Have Indecent Mail, voicemail, PG-13 mindymakru September 21 2009, 01:32:44 UTC
She saved the voicemail. The last one Claire sent her. As evidence. Of what, she’s not exactly sure. She’s not even sure she hears what she thinks she hears on it. Not that she’s listened to the thing over and over again. That’s…not what she’s into. It’s just that every time she dials in to hear her messages, she’s reminded of its existence. Lurking in the depths of her phone’s memory. And just its presence means she’s forced to speculate on a regular basis whether it really is her name that Jack moans ( ... )

It was the only way he could think of to stop the wedding. Aside from the truth, of course. Which wasn’t absolutely guaranteed to prevent Liz marrying another man ( ... )
